Three Plans to Fit Your
Needs and Budget

1. Mid-Tier or Mature Small Business Plan (>$30M)
This plan turns your business development into an efficient BD machine, creates and maintains a robust pipeline, qualifies opportunities, and maximizes your win probability. It enables you to take advantage of partnering with a premier full-service business development company.
- Review and assess the business (proposals, capability statement, website), perform market research.
- Determine business development strategy and conduct facilitated strategy session.
- Perform organization, processes, and tools assessment, and create a set of recommendations and a customized body of business development processes and operational procedures (down to the level of checklists).
- Brief the assessment results and coordinate action items with company’s leadership.
- Train the team on the new processes (1-day training and ½-day refresher).
- Research and qualify opportunities for the pipeline.
- Review and revamp capabilities statement.
- Maintain and update pipeline weekly in the OST pipeline tool.
- Perform initial top-down capture of opportunities from the BD perspective to jointly confirm fit, create customer contact plan, determine initial win strategy, identify competitors, and potential teaming partners to maximize the win probability of the opportunity.
- Conduct weekly opportunities review calls with the team.
- Develop Gate 1 briefing for each opportunity that will serve as the foundation of the capture effort.
- Mentor designated company capture leads in conducting successful capture efforts in accordance with the established processes.
- Review each proposal deliverable to ensure the win strategy is implemented.
- Conduct monthly executive coaching session with the CEO or designated executive lead.

2. Small Business Plan (>$7M)
This plan provides research, reviews, and the legwork to widen the number of opportunities, develops and maintains your pipeline, and offers mentoring, guidance, and training.
Review and assess the business (proposals, capability statement, website), perform market research.
- Determine business development strategy and conduct facilitated strategy session.
- Review and revamp capabilities statement.
- Identify, research, and qualify opportunities in the target agencies that are a good fit for the company.
- Build an opportunities pipeline.
- Update pipeline weekly in an OST pipeline tool accessible to the whole team.
- Identify potential win strategies and partners to better position for the opportunities.
- Provide access to experts to answer questions and provide guidance on pursuits.
- Conduct monthly opportunity review sessions with the team.
- Conduct monthly executive coaching sessions with the CEO.
- BONUS: 8 seats in OST’s Bid & Proposal Academy classes over the course of 12 months.
3. Emerging Small Business Plan (>$2M)
This plan provides research, reviews, mentoring, and training to widen the number of opportunities and help you develop correct strategies for securing them.
Review and assess the business (proposals, capability statement, website).
- Perform market research.
- Determine business development strategy and conduct a half-day facilitated strategy session.
- Research and qualify opportunities for the pipeline.
- Update pipeline weekly in an OST pipeline tool accessible to the whole team.
- Provide access to experts to answer questions and provide guidance on pursuits.
- Conduct monthly executive coaching sessions with the CEO.
- BONUS: 4 seats in OST’s Bid & Proposal Academy’s classes over the course of 12 months.
