Important Report on the Latest Trends in Federal Proposal Management
There are trends and drivers in government proposals that
companies need to know about to acquire and maintain
a winning edge. People have to either keep up with
the trends in the fast-changing government contracting market,
or get out of the game altogether because their chances of
winning go down exponentially.
I put together a report that is based on the copious notes
I took at the March 18, 2009 Association of Proposal Management
Professionals (APMP) Roundtable, where four "heavy weights"
in business development presented their perspectives on what
it takes to win business in the federal arena today.
The four roundtable speakers who shared their observations
about the latest trends and drivers, and the resulting best
practices for winning were: Tim Hannigan, vice president of
business development at Northrop Grumman Technical Services;
Gary Shumaker, president of Gary E. Shumaker, Inc., one of
the nation's leading consultants who help small businesses
overcome their lack of size and experience and succeed at
winning contracts; Richard Soll, senior proposal manager at
the Science Applications International Corporation's (SAIC)
McLean, VA proposal development center; and Karl Spinnenweber,
who has just been promoted from the position of VP of strategic
business management at Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC)
to a chief operating officer position.
Realizing how valuable this information is, I took extensive
notes (those who know me personally know that I am a compulsive
note taker), and put together a 15-page report that will
be extremely useful to you. This report is available for
you free at http://www.ostglobalsolutions.com/news/signup.htm.
Here is what this report covers:
• Latest trends and drivers in federal proposal
management
• Solutions to reducing proposals costs while keeping
the winning edge
• Key win strategies & must win proposal tools
• Techniques to stand out from the fast-growing large
and small business competition in proposals
• Best practices for responding to multiple proposal
requirements and formats
• Hot capture and proposal management tips
• And more...
Again, this report is available at absolutely no cost to you
for
download at our website.
