The Department of Veterans Affairs, Regional Procurement Office Central, is conducting market research for a near-future IDIQ supporting the Business Architecture (BA) Office within VHA Strategic Investment Management (10BSIM). The Sources Sought Notice was amended twice and closed on 23 July 2026. A draft Performance Work Statement is attached to the notice, and an RFP release date is under review.
The requirement covers professional and technical architecture services across six functional component areas within the Business Architecture Office:
- Director’s Office; Data Analytics and Design; Operations and Quality Assurance; Integration and Reference Architecture; Process and Value Architecture; and Information and Knowledge Architecture — spanning business process modeling, business information modeling, integration and reference architecture, decision support for collaboration efforts, and interoperability advisory services
The set-aside is the open question, and VA said responses to the recent Sources Sought notice will determine whether the rule of two is met and which set-aside category the Contracting Officer selects. NAICS 541512 applies with a $29.0M size standard, and VA invited respondents to propose a better-fitting code. That determination is now being made on the responses already received.
