The Department of Commerce CATTS objectives are to operate and sustain the current environment while migrating to cloud services to the maximum extent possible. The department wishes to minimize its physical footprint and the investments needed for technology refreshes every 3-5 years.
Polaris
GSA Small Business GWACs provide customer agencies an efficient way to access highly qualified small business information technology (IT) service providers. For Polaris, GSA is looking to expand the industry partner base, provide greater access to emerging technologies, simplify proposal submission requirements and improve the overall customer experience.
CIO-SP4
National Institutes of Health’s Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center (NITAAC) is planning to release the final for CIO-SP4. Previously, NITAAC has released three such contract vehicles and CIO-SP4 is the fourth in line and expected to be released in December 2020. In addition to the general Information Technology (IT) requirements, CIO-SP4 emphasizes IT needs for health-related and biomedical efforts of the government Under the new administration, it is expected that there will be far more opportunities for work in this area.
